Ascential Architect (Work Location: Cheng Du)

You will be part of a large and productive team responsible for Software implementation and deployment for critical large applications.? You will act as an experienced Ascential DataStage architect to support the global implementation of Business Intelligence/ Data Warehouse/ETL solution. You will also be offered the chance to collaborate with global team to design/develop solutions with Ascential DataStage tools. You will be responsible for data modeling, ETL design and DataStage job design.

To be successful, you must possess the following skills and attributes:

• 2 year of experience with Ascential DataStage ETL tools, ETL approach and technologies. DataStage Enterprise Edition/Parallel jobs experience is preferred.
• Hands on experience with data modeling and Strong with data modeling concepts (star schemas, snowflake schemas, highly normalized data models).
• Highly proficient in technical architecture, design, and development of ETL frameworks, components, and best practices; and must have substantial experience with data warehouse architecture and design.
• Excellent ETL staging environment design and development skills and ETL performance tuning skills with Ascential DataStage.
• Excellent SQL programming skills. Hands-on experience with DB2 or Oracle Database.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English.
